Nicola is the Researcher Development Manager at the Institute for Academic Development (IAD) at the University of Edinburgh, where she manages the professional and career development opportunities for research staff and principal investigators.  This includes oversight of the programme of workshops and events, the Mentoring Connections mentoring scheme, the IAD Action Fund, co-ordination of the University’s HR Excellence in Research Award process and working closely with our research staff societies.
